About WiscoGrants

What this is

WiscoGrants tells you whether your business address sits inside a district where public money is set aside for improving property, and which funding programs that opens up.

That sentence is the whole thing. You type an address. You get an answer. It is free, and you do not have to give us your name to see it.

Why it exists

Madison publishes its district boundaries, but only as a map you have to already know how to read, with no way to type an address into it. The state publishes a list of every active district in Wisconsin once a year, as a spreadsheet, with no map at all. Both were still true when we checked on August 28, 2026.

So a business owner sitting inside one of these districts has almost no way to find out, and most never do. We built the address lookup because nobody else had, and then we put the state list on 514 pages so the answer is there for the rest of Wisconsin too.

What WiscoGrants is not

We are not the City of Madison. We are not the Madison Development Corporation. We are not the State of Wisconsin. We do not work for any of them and none of them sends us business.

We do not decide who gets funded. The programs decide that, on their own rules, after you apply.

We never charge you to check an address. There is no fee to find out whether you qualify, and there will not be one.

We do not promise you money. Nobody can. If somebody tells you a grant is guaranteed or that you are already approved, that is not true, whoever is saying it.

Who runs it

WiscoGrants is run by WiscAI, Inc., a company in Madison, Wisconsin. WiscAI has been operating since May 31, 2024 and is registered with the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions as entity W085170, which anybody can look up.

Call 608-469-8668 or write michael.zhang@wiscai.com. A person answers. We speak Spanish.

How we are paid

Checking an address is free. Always, for anyone.

If you want help putting an application together after that, we agree the fee with you in writing before any work starts, so you know the number before you owe anything. If you would rather do the application yourself, the address answer is still yours and it still costs nothing.

Where the numbers come from

Every figure on this site comes from a public record, and we say which one and when we read it.

Boundaries move and program rules change. Confirm the details with the program before you plan around them.

Check your address

It takes a few seconds and costs nothing.
